This is made from vines located on very steep slopes (30 à 50 %), facing south/south-east, that were planted between 1978 and 1980. They are managed under the strict conditions of the Chablis tradition. They extend from the bottom of the valley to the end of the slopes. This profile gives the typicity of this wine a very interesting character, in which the Chardonnay is given full expression. The Kimmeridgien subsoil borders on the Portlandian at the top of the valley. The valley is quite closed, resulting in a micro climate that is highly satisfactory for good maturity. Tasting notes:

  • Colour: vivid yellow with a hint of green.
  • Nose: quite expressive with a hint of white flowers, vanilla and lillies.
  • Palate: round and elegant with the touch of minerality, very subtle with good length.

This wine can be served quite young. It is a smooth, delicate and elegant wine to be enjoyed with subtle fish dishes.
